THE DENIM VEST
The denim vest trend may be my favorite out of all the looks I compiled, and it’s ideal for this in-between seasons period. Take your summer dresses into fall by layering on a vest and wear it later in the season with long sleeves, sweater dresses and button ups.
THE DENIM PENCIL SKIRT
I never imagined I’d be so excited to wear a denim skirt again — the last time I wore this trend was in college and that was a long time ago. I love dressing down a slim fitting skirt with an ultra cozy sweatshirt like this one from Old Navy. The kitten heels keep it feminine.
THE CHAMBRAY MINI
Lightweight frilly skirts are easy to throw on in the summer, and in the cooler months just pair them with your favorite little leather jacket, chunky sweater or slim fitting blazer and ankle booties.
DENIM ON DENIM
The denin on denim trend is turning into a classic look that can be worn season to season. This fall try layering a thin bed-jacket or blazer over a denim (or chambray) blouse to break up up the denim.
