DIY: Last Minute Dollar Store Halloween Decor
If you’re anything like me, your Halloween decor is always pulled together last minute. I have a box of odds and ends — a few glittery skulls, black taper candles and plastic bugs that I’ve collected from Target and the Dollar Store over the years. This year I decided to give my entryway + dining table a few chic and creepy updates–using supplies from the Dollar Store.
First I took to the internet and searched for free Halloween printables. I found this “BOO” sign and this witch. Popped them in frames and already had most of the work done. Then I made these easy star candles using stickers that I spray painted. I picked up a pack of paper bats and folded the wings to make them look more realistic and found another use for my thriftstore frame!
I popped out the glass and added a few flying creatures to my gallery wall! Now our place is officially ready for Halloween. This will be our first year in a house and we are eagerly anticipating at least a few trick o’ treaters! Tomorrow I’ll be sharing DIY Halloween drink stirrers and a creepy cocktail recipe.
