In The Kitchen: Good Morning Green Smoothie
Whenever I’m trying to be healthy this green smoothie is my go-to for breakfast. I’ve been enjoying it most mornings for over a year and having fun adding in different fruit to mix it up! It’s extra delicious with a splash of coconut milk and if I feel a cold coming on I add a bit of fresh pressed OJ.
Good Morning Green Smoothie
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/4 pear, sliced (optional, I often omit this)
1 1/2 cup packed spinach / kale combo (with ribs removed)
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Blend together and enjoy!
*For added sweetness add a splash of coconut milk or spoonful of honey.
